I was recently interviewed by Jason Heath on Contrabass Conversations, as this was a Round 2 of sorts.

Jason and I did this in 2007 shortly after I joined the NSO, and much of that interview was about my childhood, early training on the bass, college life, festivals, audition preparation, and my observations of being in a professional orchestra for the first time.

This recent interview was done last month, and we dived in to all sorts of topics that I’ve been passionate about in my performance and teaching.  I hope you can take a listen – it is a few hours!
